April 23rd, aside from being the National Day of England, is the day on which we celebrate the gallant dragon-slaying St George (who never actually came to this country but helped inspire our lads in the crusades in the Holy Land). It is also the claimed date upon which William Shakespeare, well-known English playwright, was both born and died.
